HASP: Multidisciplinary working groups to fight against violence related to “honor”

On the occasion of the Hasp Project, three sessions have been held for the training of professionals from different areas, covering all sectors of society involved in the care of victims or potential victims of violence related to honor.

Members of the state and local security forces and bodies, social workers, lawyers, psychologists, health and education professionals and representatives of organizations, entities, foundations and associations have actively participated in the training sessions in which the attendees have been trained in the work methodology used in countries where there are specialized units for victims of honor-related violence, through the creation of multidisciplinary groups for joint assessment of the level of risk of people harmed by this type of violent practices and the development of customized intervention and security plans adapted to each case.
